Learning organizations are organizations where people continually expand their capacity to create the results they truly desire, where new and expansive patterns of thinking are nurtured, where collective aspiration is set free, and where people are continually learning how to learn together.

- Peter Senge

The Office of Professional and Organizational Development (OPOD) coordinates learning opportunities for employees that enhance the College’s capacity for achieving its mission, vision, and strategic plan.

Learning opportunities that enable collaboration, self-reflection, inquiry, iterative design, and application to daily practice are emphasized.  A commitment to equity-minded, anti-racist, and trauma-informed practices ground these approaches.

Recognizing that students are at the heart of everyone’s work at PCC, the OPOD is committed to centering student voices in the design of the College’s professional learning program.
